The Haydon Auction Barn will from time to time have openings for casual part time or contract help. These positions will include
Front Office Clerk. The ideal candidate for this position will be friendly and personable and should have experience working with the "Top Bid" or 'Auction Flex' auction software as well as cashiering, light book keeping, electronic listing & researching, digital camera operation and be available one to three times a week 4 - 5 hours each time.
Handler/Ringman. This positon requires experience in set up and display of goods in an auction environment. You will be working in front of a live audience and need to be animated and vocal. A knowledge of current price trends with regard to antiques, collectibles and general merchandise would be an asset. This position requires you to be available on sale days (presently Monday) from 9am - 6pm or 4 - 10 pm depending on sale time with the possibilty of additional hours through the week. Some heavy lifting involved.
Casual Moving Help. We will be maintaining a list of names of those interested in being contacted to assist in the moving of merchandise on a short notice basis. Some heavy lifting will be involved and the hours of work will be casual not steady. Applicants with their own large van or covered trailer that would like to work on a contractor basis will be given preference.
